Primrose Grange House is a beautifully presented historic country house close to Strandhill and Sligo town, County Sligo which offers discerning guests Luxury Self Catering Accommodation within the Guest Wing ground floor apartment. More like a home from home than a holiday home we offer weekend, mid week or weekly rentals and is ideal for couples, familes and small groups and sleeps up to a maximum of 6 guests.

Built in 1721 originaly as Primrose Grange School (which became Sligo Grammar School) the house truly commands a stunning presence high up on Knocknarea Mountain with fantastic panoramic sea views and sunsets over Ballysadare Bay and the Ox mountains. There is a beautiful private walled courtyard garden for use of the guests with BBQ and outside seating area - a perfect place to unwind.

The stunning walk to the top of Knocknarea Mountain annd Queen Maeve's tomb is immediately behing the house. Situated within the heart of Yeats Country with beautiful golden beaches on the doorstep including Strandhill; Lissadell; Culleenamore; and Rosses Point; mountains; prehistoric sites; lakes & forestry also abound. There are many activities closeby such as watersports including fantastic surfing at Strandhill; walking; horseriding; seaweed baths; golf; coarse, game and sea fishing and boat charter trips out into Sligo Bay and Innishmurray Island.
